A horizontal/vertical exploration of the fruits of a small cadre of grape-growers in the Santa Barbara area that specialize in Pinot Noir (Pisoni, Gary’s, Rosella’s) as expressed through their own winemakers, and others in the region (Pisoni, Roar, August West, Morgan, TanTara).
On August 19 Kurt Ammann, GM for Melville Winery, is coming through town. We at Vox have followed the winery, staff, and the side projects of their winemaker for years. We enjoy their intensive exploration into vineyard-specific Pinot Noir, and in their separate vintages of individual clones. Kurt will pour some current releases and some wines from their library. Come taste with Melville and learn what they have to offer, along with learning more about their projects and wine club.
