We invite you to join us for 2017’s highly-anticipated celestial event in comfort and style. Vox Vineyards will be hosting a Total Solar Eclipse Watch Party from 11:15am until 2:30pm on Monday August 21st. Beat the crowds and enjoy this rare experience in a quiet and intimate pastoral setting.
This is an ‘open-house’ style event at our beautiful space overlooking the vineyard—stay for the entire duration of the eclipse, or stop by just to view totality, it’s entirely up to you!
Directly in the Path of Totality, we are scheduled to reach our Maximum at approximately 1:08pm, with Totality lasting for one minute, forty seconds. All attendees are welcome to bring telescopes and other solar viewing devices. We will be providing basic protective eyeware at no additional cost.
General Admission tickets are $45 per person and include a picnic lunch and a tasting of three wines. Feel free to bring a blanket if you’d like to eat on the lawn, or enjoy the eclipse from a shaded seat on our crush pad.
SOLD OUT – VIP Admission tickets are $75 per person and include a catered lunch at our Vineyard Kitchen event space, with a balcony perfectly situated for viewing. Join in our informal discussion about solar facts and folklore, and enjoy a perfectly-paired selection of five TerraVox wines sequenced with the Solar Eclipse movements.
Special guest Dan Kushel, Distinguished Teaching Professor Emeritus from Buffalo State College, will join us with a telescope outfitted for solar viewing.
Space is limited to 30 general admission attendees and 22 VIP attendees, 21+ only please.
